I finally listened to _Za Bakdaz_, the "unfinished third album". While it's not bad, it really doesn't feel at ALL like a Nomi album. The Nomitron, while an interesting idea, ends up sounding almost exactly like a theremin, and while there are some samples from Nomi singing (un-'tronned), you can hear edits.

I don't believe the creators, George Elliott and Page Wood, ever worked with Nomi (could be wrong), and Kristian Hoffmann, the man who wrote most of the first two albums, is no where to be found, which probably doesn't help the fact that this just doesn't seem like Nomi.

It IS, however, a pretty decent album -- but I kinda wish they'd released it as their own, rather than as Nomi's. (There's also a really weird version of "Rubberband Lazer" from _Simple Man_, which I don't quite get why it's on there, as it's listed as a bonus track. It sounds like one that was just made in the similar way as the rest of the album, and ends up really heightening the feeling that this isn't Nomi.

    Strange.
